How deposits, invoices and unused work are handled if a project changes.

Retainers and projects
Strategy, creative, performance and build work are billed to a proposal — usually a kickoff deposit, then staged invoices. Once a stage is delivered or a month of retainer has begun, that stage is not refundable.
Deposits
The kickoff deposit holds the dates and starts discovery. If you cancel before we have started that work, we refund the unused deposit minus any third-party costs already committed. After kickoff work has begun, the deposit is applied to time already spent.
Media spend
Ad budget paid to Meta, Google or any platform is not a studio fee and is not refunded by us. Platform credits, if any, sit with the ad account owner.
How to ask
Write to hello@theadmonkey.com with the project name and what you want reversed. We will confirm what has been delivered, what can be stopped, and what will be credited or returned.
